Lady in Red - (Makes 1 drink)

 

Ingredients:

6 oz. dry red wine

2 oz. Sweet-and-Sour Mix (recipe on mixers page)

4 oz. club soda

Lime wheel, for garnish

Lemon half-moon or wedge, for garnish

 

 

1.  Fill an oversized wine glass with ice.  Pour the wine and sweet-and-sour mix over the ice and stir to combine.

 

2.  Top with the club soda and stir gently.

 

3.  Garnish with a lime wheel and a lemon half-moon.

Mimosa - (Makes 1 drink)

 

Ingredients:

5 oz. champagne or prosecco

Slash of grapefruit juice

Grapefruit wedge, for garnish

 

 

1.  Pour the sparkling wine into a champagne flute and top with the grapefruit juice.  Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.

Mixed Berry Prosecco Slushie - (Makes 1 drink)

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup frozen mixed berries

1/2 oz. vodka

4 oz. prosecco

1/2 oz. lime juice

1/4 cup crushed ice

Lime wheel, for garnish

 

 

1.  Combine all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.  Pour into a 16 oz glass.  Garnish with a lime wheel.

Strawberry Frose' - (Makes 1 drink)

 

Ingredients:

6 oz. rose' wine

1/2 cup frozen whole strawberries

1/2 oz. Low-Carb Simple Syrup (recipe on the mixers page)

1/2 oz. lemon juice

 

 

1.  Pour the rose' into a shallow bowl and place it in the freezer for 5 to 6 hours.  It won't get completely solid due to the alcohol content, but it will get nice and slushy.

 

2.  Combine the semi-frozen rose', strawberries, simple syrup, and lemon juice in a blender and pulse until smooth and icy.  Pour into a Collins glass and serve.

White Wine Spritzer - (Makes 1 drink)

 

Ingredients:

6 oz. ice-cold dry white wine

3 oz. well-chilled club soda

3 raspberries, for garnish (optional)

 

 

1.  Place the bottle of wine in the freezer for a couple o hours, until it's ice-cold, but not slushy.  At the same time, have the club soda chilling in the refrigerator.

 

2.  Pour the cold white wine into an oversized wine glass and top with the club soda.

 

3.  Garnish with a few fresh raspberries, if desired.
