Rub
Good For Everything
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar
1-1/4 cups muscovado sugar
1/3 cup Kosher or sea salt
2
Tbs hungarian half-sharp paprika

Tbs black pepper
1
Tbs aleppo chili powder
1
Tbs chipotle powder
1
tsp cayenne
2
Tbs granulated garlic
1
Tbs granulated onion
½
tsp ground cloves
½
tsp celery salt
¼
tsp ground sage
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1
tsp hickory smoke powder
1
Tbs citric acid / sour salt / lemonade mix
Mix well and store
in an airtight container. Use within 6 months for best results
NOTE:
To use on Brisket double the fresh black pepper.
Texas-style Rub:
Ingredients:
5 TBs paprika
3 TBs Kosher salt
2 TBs garlic powder
2 TBs onion powder
1 TBs ground black pepper
1 TBs dried parsley
1 TBS citric acid / sour salt / lemonade mix
2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp hot chili powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container.
*Double or triple amount of black pepper for
a Brisket!
Beef Rub - (brisket, ribs, & loin):
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 TBs Kosher salt
2 TBs coarse black pepper
2 TBs mustard powder
2 TBs garlic powder
2 TBs onion powder
2 TBs ground cumin
2 TBs chili powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container.
Pork Rub - (butts & shoulders):
Ingredients:
1 cup (packed) light brown sugar
2 TBs Chili powder
2 TBs dry mustard
2 TBs onion powder
2 TBs garlic powder
2 TBs cayenne pepper
2 TBs kosher salt
2 TBs coarsely ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container.
Pork Rub - (ribs):
Ingredients:
¼ cup Kosher Salt
3 TBs Coarse Ground Pepper
¼ cup White Sugar
¼ cup Paprika
1 TBs Garlic Powder
1 TBs Onion Powder
½ tsp Cayenne Pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container.
Chicken Rub:
Ingredients:
⅔ cup chili powder
½ cup sugar
4 TBs kosher salt
4 TBs onion powder
4 TBs garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an air-tight container.
Ultimate Rub for Ribs
Ingredients:
8 TBs smoked paprika
6 TBs brown sugar
3 TBs Kosher salt
2 TBs ground black pepper
1 TBs ground cumin
1 TBs mustard powder
1 TBs garlic powder
1 TBs onion powder
¼ tsp hot cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a bowl and combine well. Transfer to an
airtight container.
Homemade Brisket Rub
Ingredients:
2 TBs Kosher salt
2 TBs black pepper course grind
1 TBs garlic granulated
1 TBs onion powder
1 TBs smoked paprika
1 TBs chili powder
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in a lidded jar and give it a good shake until
combined.
BBQ Pork Rub
Ingredients:
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup smoked or sweet paprika
2 TBs coarse salt
1 TBs chili powder
1 TBs onion powder
1 TBs garlic powder
1 TBs black pepper ground
1 TBs mustard powder
2 TBs ground cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
Mix ingredients together well. If not using straight away, store
in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.
Smoked Turkey Rub
Ingredients:
4 TBs smoked paprika
3 TBs brown sugar
3 TBs salt flakes
2 TBs ground black pepper
1 TBs Thyme dried
1 TBs Rosemary dried
1 TBs mustard powder
1 TBs garlic powder
1 TBs onion powder
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients well and store in an airtight container.
Homemade Coffee Rub
Ingredients:
¼ cup medium ground coffee. No powder.
1 TBs dark brown sugar
2 TBs garlic powder
2 TBs onion powder
2 TBs paprika
1 TBs ground cumin
1 TBs kosher salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Mix ingredients well. Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients:
1 TBs black pepper
1 TBs smoked paprika
1 TBs mustard powder
1 TBs granulated garlic
1 TBs rosemary fresh, chopped
1 TBs Thyme fresh
1 tsp Kosher salt
1 tsp onion powder

Place all ingredients into an airtight container and mix well to
combine.

¾ cup dark brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup American paprika
¼ cup garlic powder

3 tsp rosemary
