Asian Griddle Sauce - makes @ 2 cups
(Soy sauce and fresh grated ginger bring distinctive
Asian flavors to any dish) Ingredients: 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup mirin 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup sesame oil 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon ground ginger 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
Put ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Use immediately or store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
Balsamic Griddle Sauce - makes @ 2 cups (This versatile sauce works especially well with meats, as in steak and mushrooms)
Ingredients: 1 1/4 balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup cooking oil 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon white pepper
Put ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Use immediately or store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
Lemon Griddle Sauce - makes @ 2 cups (brighten up chicken and fish dishes with the zing of lemon)
Ingredients: 1 cup low sodium chicken broth 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 1/4 cup cooking oil 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon finely minced fresh chives 1 tablespoon fresh thyme 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic
Put ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Use immediately or store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
White Wine Griddle Sauce - makes @ 2 cups (A mix of white wine and sherry adds a lovely sweetness to recipes)
Ingredients: 1 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup cooking sherry 1/4 cup cooking oil 2 tablespoons finely minced shallots 1 tablespoon finely minced garlic 1 tablespoon finely minced capers 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper.
Put ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Use immediately or store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
Spicy BBQ Griddle Sauce - makes @ 2 cups (Adds a sweet and spicy component that complements a variety of meats and vegetables on the griddle)
Ingredients: 1 cup ketchup 1/3 cup cider vinegar 1/3 cup apple juice 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup sriracha sauce 2 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons onion powder 2 tablespoons garlic powder 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons tomato paste
Put ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until combined. Use immediately or store refrigerated for up to 10 days.
